Welcome to the Richmond County Retired Educators Association Website

The Richmond County Retired Educators Association is an affiliate of the Georgia Retired Educators Association, Inc., (GREA) and the National Retired Teachers Association (NRTA.) It has roots in an earlier organization dating back to 1969, known as the Richmond County Retired Teachers Association.  In 1998, the organization’s name changed to align with the State Association when it adopted its new organizational name to better describe its membership.  Membership today is composed of retired teachers, supervisors, allied professionals, administrators, office and other support personnel, friends of education, and those who agree to support the mission and objectives of the RCREA and the GREA. Our purpose is to render services to all members, to promote their welfare, to serve the community, and to maintain interest in the profession of education.
