Richmond County Retired Educators Association Officers (RCREA)

 
 

We welcome retired teachers, supervisors, allied professionals, administrators, office and other support personnel, friends of education, and those who agree to support the mission and objectives of RCREA and GREA.

Membership Categories

 
 
Active members are educators who pay annual dues and who participate in the activities of the Association. Life membership is available to those who wish to take advantage of a one-time payment. Emeritus membership may be bestowed upon an active member and who is at least 90 years old, becomes aged, totally incapacitated and/or is in a nursing home. Upon the request of a family member or the recommendation of an RCREA member, the membership chair shall make a recommendation to the Board.
Dues: $30.00 annually, due by July 1 for the next year Dues: $300.00 one-time payment Dues: None.

The RCREA membership year begins July 1 and ends June 30 of each year. Annual dues for the next year are payable before June 30.

The GREA bulletin keeps you up to date on member activities, retirement issues and other items of interest.

GREA members maintain a strong sense of camaraderie with retired educators throughout the state.

GREA Membership Categories and Fees

 
 
  • The GREA membership year runs from July 1 to June 30.
  • Regular membership (Code R):  $27 annually
  • Automatic Dues Deduction Membership (Code ADD):  $2 monthly deduction from TRS check
  • Life Membership (Code L):  $360 one time
  • Life Member plus Automatic Dues Deduction (Code LADD): In addition to holding a life membership, many want to continue to support GREA through a $1.50 monthly deduction from their TRS check.
